Kaisha is a native of Manhattan. Her passion is to help people get better and feel well--to stay better and to stay well. She attended college at Oklahoma State University, held varied jobs and traveled throughout her twenties and returned home when she was 30. From there, Kaisha opened Lotus HealthWorks in 2008, in hopes to start a place of therapy, a place for change. Kaisha attended HealthWorks Institute for massage in Bozeman, Montana in 2007-2008. While her career started as a massage therapist, she began to study health on deeper levels. Through massage, she learned how our bodies truly work. She also learned that, on so many levels, through the choices we make, we truly have the power to change our physiology. From there, Kaisha made it her goal to empower people to help themselves. Healing, after all, is our own work. Kaisha began to wonder how she could help people beyond massage therapy. She desired to show them more ways to help themselves, in their own home, through positive and educated personal choices. But how and where to begin? Then, last October, she experienced a back injury of her own. Through this back injury, she discovered Foundation Training--a new level of self empowerment. Kaisha no longer practices massage therapy, for the time being. At this moment, she is learning more and developing a business plan as to how to open Lotus HealthWorks - El Dentro (to go inside). She is to become a certified Foundation Training instructor, which will be her focus at Lotus HealthWorks. She has completed the certification course and is currently preforming her 50 hours of practical training. Learn more about Foundation Training here.
Eric Adams, Jr. is one of the newest additions to Lotus HealthWorks. Eric was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He began his journey in Kansas through his career in the Army. Now a veteran, Eric served his country for three years, deploying to both Kuwait and Iraq. His passions include being a father to his 3 year old son, physical fitness and health, cooking, outdoor activities, and his new found love for massage therapy.
While he is well-trained in relaxation massage, his strength lies in sports massage. His massage therapy training also provides him with the skills needed to utilize therapeutic massage to aid in the treatment of many chronic conditions such as, but not limited to: general overall stress, migraines, tension headaches, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, neck pain, and arthritis. General overall stress is a known cause of other dysfunctions in our bodies. As a therapist, he is dedicated and passionate about helping people find peace of mind, body, and spirit through therapeutic massage. Learn more about massage at Lotus Healthworks here. Eric is working on studying for his national exam and also plans to attend a certification course in Foundation Training in the August.
