Kaisha is a native of Manhattan. Her passion is to help people get better and feel well--to stay better and to stay well. She attended college at Oklahoma State University, held varied jobs and traveled throughout her twenties and returned home when she was 30. From there, Kaisha opened Lotus HealthWorks in 2008, in hopes to start a place of therapy, a place for change. Kaisha attended HealthWorks Institute for massage in Bozeman, Montana in 2007-2008. While her career started as a massage therapist, she began to study health on deeper levels. Through massage, she learned how our bodies truly work. She also learned that, on so many levels, through the choices we make, we truly have the power to change our physiology. From there, Kaisha made it her goal to empower people to help themselves. Healing, after all, is our own work. Kaisha began to wonder how she could help people beyond massage therapy. She desired to show them more ways to help themselves, in their own home, through positive and educated personal choices. But how and where to begin? Then, last October, she experienced a back injury of her own. Through this back injury, she discovered Foundation Training--a new level of self empowerment. Kaisha no longer practices massage therapy, for the time being. At this moment, she is learning more and developing a business plan as to how to open Lotus HealthWorks - El Dentro (to go inside). She is to become a certified Foundation Training instructor, which will be her focus at Lotus HealthWorks. She has completed the certification course and is currently preforming her 50 hours of practical training. Learn more about Foundation Training here.
Edith is the newest addition to Lotus HealthWorks. Although some might consider Edith a world traveler, due in large, to her father’s career in the Army, her heart belongs to Manhattan. After living in Germany for many years, she moved to the Little Apple where she attended Bellus Academy. There, she realized her passion for helping people through therapeutic massage.
Edith believes that pain management is deeper than on the physical level. She believes it is also about balancing the mind and body emotionally through the release of negative energy. Her treatment focuses on both the emotional and physical well being of her clients.
While she is well-trained in relaxation massage, her massage therapy training also provides her with the skills needed to utilize therapeutic massage to aid in the treatment of many chronic conditions such as, but not limited to: general overall stress, migraines, tension headaches, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, neck pain, and arthritis. In order to help her clients reach their wellness goals and improve their quality of life, Edith takes a personal approach to massage therapy and creates a plan that will address the individual needs and concerns of each of her clients. As a therapist, she is dedicated and passionate about helping people find peace of mind, body, and spirit through therapeutic massage. Learn more about massage at Lotus Healthworks here.
Not only is Edith passionate about helping others heal, she wants the world to know the power of therapeutic massage. In order to empower more individuals with the same mantra, she also shares her knowledge as a massage therapy instructor at Bellus Academy,
